Study Description:
This study is testing an investigational vaccine compared to a vaccine for the prevention of a cytomegalovirus infection in adolescents. Participants will receive the investigational vaccine or placebo 3 times throughout the study. Additional procedures include vital signs, physical examinations, laboratory assessments, and electronic diary completion. Total study duration, including screening, is approximately 1 year and 6 months with 11 doctor’s visits and 11 telephone calls. Eligibility for the study will be determined by the study doctor following one in-person screening visit to the clinic. Trial-related procedures and study medication will be provided at no cost.
