Approved commissions will be paid to publishers after the advertiser has paid us.
§ Coupon and offer-led sites affiliates may only apply affiliate links to coupons supplied to them by ADVERTISER. Any sales generated through non-affiliate coupons will be declined or will attract a lower commission*. Affiliate may only advertise or promote advertisements which state the actual discount that a visitor may derive by clicking on a Link. Affiliate shall not advertise Trip.com’s products by taking into account a coupon price without prominently noting that a coupon is being applied to achieve a lower product price. For example, if Trip.com has a product for sale off the Destination Site for $100, but there is an active Company 10% off coupon for such product, affiliate may only advertise the product for $90 by stating in the advertisement that the $90 price is only available when the coupon is applied—i.e., “get this [product] when you use this 10% off coupon.”
§ We do not allow any Facebook PPC advertising campaigns. We reserve the right to exclusively promote within this channel.
§ Other forms of SEM advertising are acceptable so long as affiliates are not bidding on our trademarks and trademarks of our products.
§ We do not allow any Direct to Merchant PPC advertising; please ensure if you're using this channel that all traffic is directed through your own website.
§ All traffic sources must be approved by ADVERTISER. You must update your traffic source if you decide to add another website, or change a previously approved one.
§ Cookie period: 30 days / last-click
§ Closed Pay-Per-Click Policy
Trip.com does not permit pay-per-click. This includes bidding on brand terms, variations, and misspellings. You are not authorised to use the Trip.com's domain as the display URL in any paid search activity on any search engine.
§ Use of unauthorized links or coupon codes by us in the Program is prohibited, and will result in the forfeiture of all commissions earned hereunder by Partner for the month(s) the unauthorized links or coupon codes appear on your site. Unauthorized coupon codes shall include, but not be limited to those coupon codes unrelated to the Program that are distributed through our stores, consumer email newsletters, retail cards or direct mail promotions. Violation of the foregoing prohibitions may result in, among other things, the immediate termination of this Agreement and/or the commencement of an action by us against you seeking, without limitation, injunctive relief and/or recovery of actual, statutory and/or punitive damages.
§ Validation: Cancellation or refunded orders will not generate commission payable and will be excluded every month-end.
For hotel orders, commission calculation will based on successfully check-out orders.
For flight orders, commission calculation will base on net of successfully submitted
§ Forward Distribution: During the term of this Agreement, AFFILIATE agrees that it will not, by itself or by allowing any of its sub-affiliates, present, market, forward distribute or otherwise use or allow use of any of the links, data and images and information on all products and services made available on the Company Website, including those originally generated by any Company or made available to Company under a license, through any third party without previous written consent from Company (“Company Content”).
§ Brands Protection: AFFILIATE agrees and warrants that it shall not conduct, undertake, use or perform (a) Paid Search, SEO or SEM activities, keyword bidding (b) any activity to unfairly influence the results of third party platforms, or (c) any other form of targeted online advertising (whether directly, indirectly, or via or through third party platforms) to cause adverse effect or influence on the marketing of Company Content or the promotion for Company.
§ AFFILIATE agrees and covenants that (i) it will not, by itself or through any third person, market or forward distribute any of the Company Content through any other online platforms or online agencies without the prior written approval from Company; and (ii) it will not, by itself or through any other person, market or forward distribute any of the Company Content through any Restricted Platforms, without previous written consent from Company.
§ Both Parties understand, acknowledge and agree that the continued maintenance of an image of excellence and high level ethical marketing of Company Website is essential to the continued success of Company. AFFILIATE agrees that its sales, marketing and distribution, or advertising will not reflect unfavorably on, or dilute in any way, Company’s image of excellence and high level ethical marketing. AFFILIATE agrees that it shall not do anything, directly or indirectly, to impair the current image or to lower the prestige or quality of Company.
§ AFFILIATE agrees to use its reasonable best efforts to develop and promote Company Websites and its services, and to enhance Company’s image in the marketplace as a provider of quality travel products and services.
§ Except as provided for herein, neither Party hereto shall issue or permit the issuance of any press release or other public statement regarding this Agreement or the Parties’ relationship without prior coordination with and approval from the other Party.
§ Please check a few things that you need to be aware of :
1) When you using ‘Ctrip’ instead of ‘Trip.com’, your posting can be warned and rejected.
2) Trip.com may request the deletion of postings if it finds anything that may damage Trip.com’s brand.
