Usage of “FREE”
▪ The word “Free” as it relates to any home improvement service is NOT ALLOWED (ie: “Free Solar”, “Free Window Replacement”, etc)."
▪ The word “Free” may be used sparingly as it relates to the cost of receiving quotes (ie: “Get Free Quotes for Your Windows Project”)
▪ The word “Free” may not be used in any way that can mislead consumers

▪ If “Free” is used in a paid search ad description for home security, the ad description must also include the words “$99 installation fee and purchase of alarm monitoring services required.”
▪ For all projects the following phrases are strictly prohibited: “Zero out of pocket”, “nothing out of pocket”, “$0 out of pocket”, “{Project Name} Program”, “Giving Away {Project Name}”, “Free {Project Name}”. “....give you {Project Name}”, or anything that implies a free project
