Search Campaigns - Non-compete SEM Bidding Keywords
Publishers are prohibited from outranking Wolverine in their SEM campaigns.
• Trademark bidding can only occur on coupon or promotion-related keywords.
• Affiliates may never outrank or outbid Wolverine. Affiliates may never be in position number 1. Outranking Wolverine may result in reversal of transactions and removal from the program.
• Affiliates may not bid on any terms outside of the agreed upon terms.
• Affiliates must exact match keywords. No phrase or broad match allowed.
• Bid caps: Affiliate’s SEM keywords cannot have bids higher than .25.
Search Campaigns - Prohibited SEM Display URL Content
Publishers are prohibited from using the following in the display URLs of SEM campaigns.
• Affiliates may never use [Wolverine Brand URL], or any domain owned by Wolverine as their display URL.
• Affiliates must contact Wolverine for approval before purchasing or promoting any domains that include Wolverine trademarks.
• Affiliates may not use the word "direct" as pertaining to Wolverine anywhere in their display URLs.
• Affiliates may not use Wolverine anywhere in the display URL.
• Affiliates are limited to a maximum of two separate display URLs per search result.
Search Campaigns - Limited Use SEM Display URL Content
Publishers are permitted to use the following in the display URL of SEM campaigns.
• Use of the term “coupon” in the display URL is permitted.
• Affiliates may not bid on any terms outside of the agreed upon terms
• Affiliates must exact match keywords. No phrase or broad match allowed.
• Bid caps: Affiliate’s SEM keywords cannot have bids higher than .25.
• Affiliates may never outrank or outbid Wolverine. Affiliates may never be in position number 1. Outranking Wolverine may result in reversal of transactions and removal from the program.
Search Campaigns - Prohibited SEM Ad Copy Content
These are items that publishers are prohibited from using in the ad copy of SEM campaigns.
• Use of language such as "official site", "official store", or any ad copy that may appear to represent Wolverine is not permitted.
Search Campaigns - Limited Use SEM Ad Copy Content
These are items that publishers are permitted to use in the ad copy of their SEM campaigns.
• Use of the Wolverine brand name is permitted in ad copy serving to the trademark terms discussed above.
• When bidding on generic keywords, affiliates may not use Wolverine in their ad copy.
• Ad Copy - Please do not call out “site-wide savings”. Also note, that we do not allow you to mention a specific % off as promotions change frequently and we may not have that particular % off happening at the time the user clicks the ad.
Search Campaigns – Expected Reporting
The following reporting is expected (but not required) from publishers who participate in TM+ bidding.
• Affiliates are expected to create an automated report, sent directly from AdWords to
[email protected] on Monday mornings for the prior 7 days.
• Expected columns include Max CPC, Avg. CPC, Clicks, Impressions, and Avg. Pos.
Violation of any of the above terms may result in immediate termination from Wolverine’s Affiliate Program. Wolverine reserves the right to reverse commissions in case of a violation.
