Immediate Termination for Branded Paid Search
Spectrum has updated their marketing guidelines effective 5/16/2023. Any Spectrum Dealer that appears in or enters an order tracked back from ANY Search Engine Paid Search violation including Google, Bing, etc from any form of brand overlap will be immediately terminated. All Paid Search campaigns must be completely Generic AND include a Negative Broad Match Spectrum brand terms to ensure compliance.
Guidelines
Spectrum Authorized Retailers are NOT approved to participate in any query-based auction advertising containing any Charter brand terms. This includes but is not limited to, terms such as “Spectrum”, “Charter”, “Time Warner”, and “BrightHouse” and any variants, acronyms, misspellings, colorable imitation, and/ or confusing similar term thereof or other derivatives for these terms. This includes directly showing advertisements on queries containing Charter brand terms, as well as indirectly showing advertisements on Charter brand queries through broad match
