Study Description: This study is testing an investigational medication for people with a confirmed peanut allergy compared to a placebo. Participants will receive either investigational medication being tested in the study or a placebo for 9 months. Additional procedures include vital signs, physical examinations, laboratory tests, lung function assessments and e-diary entries. Total participation will last up to 1 year and 4 months with approximately 14 clinic visits throughout the study. Eligibility for the study will be determined by the study doctor following one or more in-person screening visits to the clinic. Trial-related procedures and study medication will be provided at no cost.
Qualifications:
- Child cannot have taken peanut oral immunotherepy in the last 12 months
- Must consent to an oral food challenge with peanut proteins to illicit an allergic response to test child's reactivity to peanuts
