Study Description: This study is testing an investigational injectable medication for severe chronic pruritus (itchy skin). Participants will be asked to take an oral non-sedative antihistamine daily, and use (or continue to use) moisturizer at least once a day for 6 months. Additional procedures include physical exams, vital signs, blood and urine testing, and completion of electronic diaries for itch assessments. Total participation, including screening, will last approximately 7 months with 6 doctor’s visits throughout the study. Eligibility for the study will be determined by the study doctor following one or more in-person screening visits to the clinic. Trial-related procedures and study medication will be provided at no cost.
