You may qualify to participate if you use a daily asthma medication, but still experience symptoms of asthma. If enrolled, you will receive either the treatment being tested in this study or a placebo to be taken twice daily for 1.5 months. You will continue to take your regular asthma medication along with the study treatment. Your total participation will last approximately 3 months and you will be asked to attend 8-9 doctor’s visits. During these visits, you will complete various diagnostic and laboratory tests. Trial-related procedures and study treatment will be provided at no cost. The doctor’s office conducting the study will be able to provide you with more information about the study requirements. Qualifications: - Must be diagnosed with asthma 1 year or longer - Experiencing asthma symptoms despite taking daily asthma medication - Cannot currently be smoking (including e-cigarettes, vapes, and marijuana) Highest DQs: - Must be taking a daily inhaled corticosteroid - Experiencing asthma symptoms despite taking daily asthma medication - Cannot currently be smoking (including e-cigarettes, vapes, and marijuana)
