You may qualify to participate if you have been diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis (UC) or Crohn's Disease. Study Description: The purpose of this clinical study is to see whether an investigational medication can help to treat adults with moderately to severely active inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). You may be eligible to participate if you have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis (UC) or Crohn’s disease and are currently experiencing symptoms. You may be asked to attend an initial screening visit to determine if you’re eligible to enroll in the study. If enrolled, you will be randomly selected to receive either the study drug or a placebo. Both the study drug and placebo will be administered as subcutaneous infusions over approximately 30 minutes. These treatments will occur every two weeks over a span of three months. Total participation will last approximately 6 months and you will be required to attend up to 10 doctor’s visits throughout the study. Trial-related procedures and study medication will be provided at no cost. - Must be diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease (for 3 months or longer) - Must have taken medications to treat or manage your IBD - This study requires two prescreening appointments.
